My major skills and abilities are in written communication, rhetorical analysis, and critical thinking, stemming from my educational background, which is focused on communication and the use of digital tools for writing.
Technical Skills and Platforms
- Creating Blogs and Websites with WordPress(and Squarespace, but only websites).
- Using InDesign and Photoshop to create images for communication and advertising (these are much more at the beginner level).
- Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are used to write essays, resumes, and presentations.
- Recording presentations via Zoom.

Professional/Soft Skills
My job as a crew member at McDonald’s has also given me skills that have usefulness outside of service work, along with my education
- Flexibility with working hours and changes in both the workplace and classes I have taken.
- Communication within a service-oriented workplace
- Communication in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Rhetorical analysis of media (movies, books, shows, etc.)
- Researching for essays and written works
- Understanding how to use critical thinking skills in the workplace, within my classes, and applying them to my writing and reading.
- Presenting information by using a digital platform and in person.
